The pool area provided a lovely retreat after sightseeing. However, the lack of an elevator was inconvenient for carrying luggage.

The stay at Brit Hotel Europ was a refreshing experience. The pool was lovely and a fantastic spot to unwind after days of exploring. Location shines. just a five-minute walk from the train station and close to the city center. The staff were not only helpful but also spoke good English, making communication seamless. My room, the Standard Double Room, was clean and equipped with a comfortable bed. However, the bathroom layout was a bit odd with a tiny separate room for the toilet. Lacking a lift could pose challenges for those with heavy luggage, especially on the stairs. Nonetheless, it’s an excellent value for the price, and I would definitely recommend it for a convenient and relaxing stay in Bergerac.

What they won’t tell you about this
Charming aesthetic preserved from the 50s, making it delightful to explore. The pool's intimate atmosphere offers a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast is satisfying, including fresh croissants!
The rooms might feel small,, especially when packing for a longer stay. No lift can be a hassle if you're hauling heavy luggage up the stairs, a significant annoyance for some travelers.

i almost thought i could give this place a decent review, but then i remembered the dreadful breakfast options and the fact that there’s no lift, making it less welcoming for guests like me, wanting to be spoiled with a smooth stay. i definitely expected a complimentary upgrade after such inconveniences.
